The ocean technology community. All in one room.
Oceanology International is different from the rest of our event calendar. Running every two years, Oi doesn't specialize, it gathers: offshore energy, marine defense & security, ocean science, subsea robotics, aquaculture, coastal infrastructure. For cable engineers and subsea system designers, Oi is the broadest possible checkpoint: where the full range of ocean missions (commercial, scientific, military) surface in one place, and where the challenges that cut across all of them become visible. That’s where DeRegt comes in, because one of those shared challenges is always the cable.
What DeRegt brings to Oi
At Oceanology International 2026, DeRegt is on the floor together with Sercel, combining our deepwater cable co-engineering expertise with Sercel's capabilities in maritime surveillance and ocean sensing systems. Our shared stand brings together two parts of the same technical challenge: the cable and the system it enables. We're also bringing something you can hold in your hands: a new connector for deep-sea umbilicals — that illustrates exactly what goes into making a subsea connection reliable at extreme depth.
