Who likes to translate the client’s wishes into designs for various cable systems? From Variable Depth Sonar to Neutrino Detectors, from Wave Energy Converters to Remotely Operated Vehicles and from deep-sea mines to hot air balloons. No cable system is the same. You find new applications, technologies, and solutions on own initiative. Some of the key responsibilities will include:
The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s or master’s degree Electrical Engineering (or Physics, Aerospace Engineering, Mechatronics) and minimum of 5 years work experience with cable product development. In addition:
• you are an experienced project manager and have good knowledge of material properties
• with your good interpersonal abilities, you can lead discussions with a great variety of international clients
• you like to work with technically complex custom build products
• in addition to an innovative mind, you have good analytic skills
• you, like the rest of the team, have an enthusiastic, positive drive
• fluency in English is mandatory (95% of the customers come from abroad), Dutch is a pre
• you will be reporting directly to the manager R&D
• the state-of-the-art office and production location is located in Krimpen aan de Lek and you can work 1-2 days / week from home
